The music of Tennessee has deep roots ranging from Blues to Bluegrass, Crunk to Classical. Tennessee has repeatedly produced extraordinary pioneering, American musicians in every popular musical genre.
Seven years of traditional textbook reference, first hand travel and mainstream research have led me to pull together the Tennessee Musicians Map etched on a metal zinc plate.
The musicians listed were all born in Tennessee and have all achieved notable influence, relevance, and awarded successes in music.
